چکیده
Background: After upper extremity nerve repair, there occurs impairment in hand functions which representsa major problem activities of daily living (ADL) for the patient. Therefore, patients after peripheral nerverepair needs rehabilitation to improve their functional status. This study was conducted determine efficacyof modified constraint-induced movement therapy subjects repair extremity.Methodology: 27 post-surgical ulnar and/or median aged 18-60 years, were included inthe as per selection criteria. The randomly divided into two groups, Group A (n=14) andGroup B (n=13) and assessed disability, integrated function, pain muscle strengthusing DASH questionnaire, SHFT, VAS BMRC strengthening grading system respectively. GroupA received Modified along with conventional therapy. receivedConventional alone. given a total duration intervention 8 weeks, 5 weeklysessions reassessed weeks. Conclusion: results this conclude that constraint induced combinedwith Conventional physiotherapy is more effective when compared alone improvingmuscle strength reducing disability upperextremity.
